The New Feature Film “Loving Vincent” Is Comprised of 12 Oil Paintings Every Second
The film put together around the bizarre life and and mysterious death of Vincent Van Gogh.
The Oscar winning studio BreakThru Films, known for Shakespeare in Love has been working with over 100 painters over the last 4 years to create the film based entirely on the style of Van Gogh’s paintings.
The plot is assembled from over 800 letters hand written written by Van Gogh himself. The imagery is assembled from over 120 of Van Gogh’s iconic paintings ranging from “Starry Night” to “The Red Vineyard” If the trailers are any indication of what’s to come the film itself will be a revolutionary piece of visual filmmaking based on the iconic post-impressionist painter.
