The trailer is live for the new film ‘Goodnight Brooklyn,’ which relives the final days at already legendary Williamsburg, Brooklyn venue Death By Audio.

The neighborhood, which has seen the fall of several iconic venues and bars including Glasslands, Public Assembly, Trash Bar and Cameo. The post gentrified area is losing it’s original grit that ironically made it appealing to the Manhattan based migrants.

Death By Audio hosted innumerable up and coming bands who celebrated it’s DIY aesthetic. The trailer features appearances by Ty Segall, Sam Herring of Future Islands and Dan Deacon who states,

“When you remove a space like this, you don’t only remove the shows or the people who live here, you remove the entire ecosystem this space supports.”
